Two Public Hearings are scheduled by the Greig Planning Board prior to the Planning Board Meeting of July 5th at 5:30PM.
The Town of Greig Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 5:30PM at the Town Hall, 5186 Greig Rd, Greig, NY. Any person wishing to appear at the hearing may do so in person, or by attorney, or by any other representative. Written comments may be sent to Linda Meade, Secretary, 5186 Greig Rd, Greig NY 13345 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Written comments must be received prior to the hearing. Comments will be heard regarding:
#1 An Application for a Major Subdivision, 2 lots, requested by Matt and Brad Billhardt, S. Chase Lake Road, Glenfield, NY. The application is on file with the Planning Board for the Town of Greig at the Town Hall in Greig, NY.
#2 High Voltage Hills Moto Cross, adjacent to the Middle Rd, Greig, NY, is applying for an amendment to Special Permit 1-16. The amendment request includes an increase in the number of race/practice weekends between April and October to eight, and includes quad racing. Two Snow Cross events are proposed between December and April. Additionally, they are requesting to run several practices on open Saturdays and member practices on one to two nights a week from 4PM till 7PM. The application is on file with the Planning Board for the Town of Greig at the Town Hall.

As of May 1st, 2018 the Assessor has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year. You may examine it at the Clerks Office, or visit the website townofgreig.org. Or visit the County website at lewiscounty.org
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll at the Town Hall on the following days:

Thursday, May 10th 9:AM-1:PM
Thursday, May 17th 9:AM-1:PM
By Appointment only on Saturday, May 12th from 4:PM-8:PM
Appointments for Saturday May 12th visit with Assessor must be made prior to 1:PM May 10th.

You may bring any concerns or questions about your assessed value to any of the above stated dates and times.
The Board of Assessment Review will conduct hearings and examine grievances on Thursday May 24th between 4PM and 8PM at the Town Hall. This is Grevience Day for Town of Greig residents.
If you feel you have been agrrieved, please obtain a complaint form and instructional booklet from the Assessor, Clerk or County Real Property Office. Please submit the application form with the Clerk prior to the May 24th Hearing. You may represent yoursellf or designate any other representative to present your greivance to the Board.
